There was a small but important typo in my previous message, please
replace corruptions are visible with corruptions are ***no longer***
visible.

The bug used to affect my Dell XPS 13 9343. It is no longer the case
with the package uploaded to vivid-proposed, the video output does look
very good now and corruptions are visible. Information on package's
