Unfortunately, Chrome still crashes, with blinking numlock and capslock.
During startup, I see "Failed to load kernel modules" at least three
times.

I switched the video driver from Nouveau to Nvidia proprietary driver.
Now I can watch youtube in Chrome. I do have other issues now, described
in bug 1404169.

Can we reopen this? My computer continues to freeze frequently. I have
replaced the motherboard, memory, cpu, it still freezes. I have replaced
the videocard with one of the same model, still freezes. Happens mostly
when I watch a video, beit online or from my action cam. I don't use
Chrome any mor

I stand corrected: it's not that particular link, it's any link. I was
using Chrome, went fine, until I clicked a link, immediately computer
froze. I'll ditch Chrome, but still, Ubuntu shouldn't freeze.
