Two vital patches for extended touchscreen support are still missing: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/wayland-devel/2015-August/023992.html and http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/wayland-devel/2015-August/024022.html The first one will be upstreamed in the current state, the second one might see another revision before being applied.
