Hello, i have the same freeze problem with ubuntu 16.04 and 15.10 with
packard bell : imedia s1710.
For the moment, no freeze with xubuntu 16.04.

Oh good, it's not just me then! Yeah it seems to be fine with non-
graphically-intensive things but '3D' desktop environments cause the GPU
to lockup. Which is odd because it wasn't a problem with 12.04 (or
Windows 8, for that matter). Could you press the button at the top to
