I think I'm getting similar behavior to this bug, but I'm using LXDE,
not GNOME. Occasionally, when I resume my laptop (Acer Aspire V5) from
suspend, the graphics flicker from the mouse cursor to the bottom of the
screen. Switching to the console and back (CTRL-ALT-F1, then CTRL-
ATL-F7) makes

I have the same problem since upgrading from 15.10 to 16.04. Thinkpad
T450s with intel graphics.
Not sure if this is related, but I have this in dmesg/syslog:
