bagl0312, Chrome doesn't use WebKit; they use Blink (which is admittedly a webkitgtk fork). You already have the latest webkit2gtk since those are being pushed out as security updates to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. The webkit2gtk fix was a workaround according to the webkitgtk developers. That's why the
