Sometimes when I signup after sleep mode, there's much text missing in
several applications.

See screenshots:
- E.g. Nautilus: directory names and filenames missing, but file symbols are 
displayed correctly. Also the texts in the left side bar, in the headline, and 
in the tab header are missing.
- When I hover over my email inbox in thunderbird, the email subjects, 
addresses, timestamps etc. disappear.

This problem is occurring maybe in 30% of all cases after sleep mode.

I'm using Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
