The issue is that patch "do-not-call-pci_save_state.patch" can't be
applied to nvidia/nv.c
Workaround (checked with 430.64, probably should work on other 430.x
versions):
1. Install broken package, get an

After reboot indeed I was back on a low resolution and without Nvidia graphic
driver.
A complete uninstall via
sudo apt remove nvidia*
and afterwards installing the opensource 440 driver via additional
