Please open two Terminal windows. In one run: dmesg -w In the other run: journalctl -f Now wait and reproduce the freeze a few times. Each time look at those two Terminal windows and tell us if you see any particular messages just after each freeze. -- You received this bug notification

I don't have any specific hint for what to look at in the journal no, just hints of what the problems could be. You can switch drivers in software-properties-gtk ** Changed in: xorg (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu

Seems to be an issue with the graphics drivers. Is it easy to uninstall 100% and go back to default drivers if wanted? Like to have as clean installation as possible but if this helps I might give it a try. https://askubuntu.com/questions/1185491/ubuntu-19-10-freezes-and-lags- reguarly -- You r

Problem is still present. Happened when running ClamAV, that took up a lot of memory so that's one thing to change but I had the same setup in 19.04. Can also appear in FireFox (70.0.1, used a lot) when using Twitter. Perhaps a js running away? Will take a closer look in the console next time. I al

Didn't know what to include. It's long even if I do -d. But I found an error with dmar. Not sure what it stands for but it led me to turn of virtualization in BIOS. Crossing my fingers but it seems better. Though some apps start very slow compared to 19.04 like FileZilla and FreeCAD. Could be anoth

Thank you for taking the time. I have a hard time pinpointing the exact moments it happens. It's a short freeze, then it works again. Irrational. Didn't happen in 19.04. One occasion is when working with LibreOffice Version: 6.3.2.2 and Calc. When opening a document from inside Calc it happened whe
