Unfortunately no there is no other way right now. If your display server is frozen then you also lose the ability to switch to other virtual terminals, because the keyboard handling for that is the job of the frozen display server. We should also check this is really a Xorg bug and not a gnome-she

Hi, well I was log in about half minute and it did freeze again. Now I create new one. Here I was logged in more time. About 20 -40 mins. Did start to install some programs and it did freeze. Nov I did a reboot, it freezes again on login screen or id I log in, then after 2 mins. Thank You ** A

Hi, there is file. I did run via recovery mode, becouse after I changed to xorg gaphics driver, I can't login. It freezes,when I enter password. There is no files in /var/crash, but whe I did root command prompt via recovery mode, there was some kind nvidia bug report in red color. Thanks *
