Public bug reported: This started to happen after installing the last update last week. If I lock the screen (using either Win+L or opening the menu and clicking Lock) the screen turns to black and it doesn't come back anymore. I know the system is still operational since the NumLock button still responds (turns on and off If I press it) and the HotSpot still works on my phone, but the screen just doesn't come back from black. This wasn't an issue before the update, it is very recent. Thank you very much!
