Thank you for that. I'll have a look. I could also go back to Jammy as my primary OS on this machine. I'm hoping for a fix in 23.10. I'll start testing the daily builds soon. At a minimum the team could disable the nvidia driver for the GTX 675M. The open source driver does what it is

Hi, you might want to have a look at the libnvidia-tls library selection/hack, posten on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics- drivers-390/+bug/2016459 That prevented black screen/keyboard lockup for me (but after downgrading kernel to 5.19 to avoid copy vbios error). --
