This bug might be one of the issues fixed in 535.86.05:

Indeed the contents of the window (including the black rectangle) are
the responsibility of the primary GPU (AMD) by default. However that
window then gets composited (copied) to the screen and if that screen is
connected to Nvidia like by HDMI then Nvidia is used for that fullscreen
draw.

I don't have Nvidia 530 driver available in Additional Drivers. The latest
one available for me is 535 and I already use it (see attached screenshot).

Thanks. There are a few errors there but I'm not sure if any of them are
relevant to this bug.
Since this issue appears to be between Xorg and the Nvidia driver it
might be worth trying a different Nvidia driver version like 530 (that's
the oldest one that supports your GPU).
