I'm experiencing the same problem on a Samsung r60+ laptop, on both Jaunty and
Karmic alpha2.
The problem is the same as described in this duplicate: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/282963";>bug 282963. The keyboard
becomes unresponsive as well as most of the applets in the gnome-panel. Only
