installed Lucid and sis driver is working on first install! Yellow
Cast problem is no longer an issue. Problem has been fixed in this
release.

This bug affects Lucid Lynx beta. Fix I posted on 2009-07-14 still applies.
Adding the sisfb module to modules file fixes issue.
So when a clean install happens the sis vga card is not being detected on the
aspire 5000 screen is not configure properly.

I have found a solution to this problem
post found here : http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=961964 (To
give credit to forum member "graham-cracker"
After some web searching and with the help of:
sudo lspci -v
It looks like sisfb (a required module for my graphics card) is not
being load
