I have just installed the latest nvidia driver 180.22 however there seems to be a problem. When using metacity, the screen is always drawn properly. However when using compiz the screen is not displayed properly initially. It seems as if the screen is shifted slightly to the right so the right-most part of the screen is not displayed. However, this will be fixed if I change to a virtual terminal (Ctrl-Alt-1) and then (Ctrl- Alt-7). Also, if I change the resolution using the Nvidia control panel the problem fixes itself. Is there a way to fix this problem? It doesn't seem like there is a problem with the driver at all since I am able to do everything else just fine. ** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers-180 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete -- Screen not drawn properly with Compiz and Nvidia 180.22 https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/316928 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers-180 in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
