Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This is a well known issue between OpenGL and Compiz (the visual effects). When Ubuntu 9.10 comes out it will contain Direct Rendering Infrastructure 2 for the Intel graphics card which will solve this issue. I
