Do you have a seperate bug for the blue colors? I know what the problem
is. The Xv saturation ranges have changed and nvidia-settings isn't
adjusting it on upgrade. You can lower the slider below 0, then save,
then raise the slider back to 0 and save again to fix that.

The latest video drivers in Karmic have made the movie in question
playable, and at fast speeds as well.
I've run into a separate bug, however - all the colors are blue tinted
in any video.

The "slow" movie seems to crash outright when opened in current karmic,
I'll try the PPA and see if that helps any.

I've posted a new version of the -nvidia driver to our xorg-edgers PPA,
would you mind testing it either on Jaunty or Karmic and see if it
resolves this bug?
