Hi Geir, thanks for that information, that helps narrow it down.
From what you've indicated, am I reading correctly that we have
appropriate versions of -intel and the kernel, but just need to update
to a newer xserver (e.g. 1.6.3) to gain the fix? Assuming that to be

offset, but with the new dri2 features it doesnt render dropdowns at all
