got this also in catalyst 10.4 and 10.5 and ubuntu 10.4 :(
however memory leaked can be reclaimed when running the command 'glxinfo'.

This is interesting... I upgraded Xorg first but left fglrx alone, and
the memory leak is MUCH less significant. I randomly had to restart
compiz after running up the memory watching full screen video, and it
reset the memory to what it had been when I first booted the computer!
So, for me, on a
