meantime Ubuntu has moved along. I hope the reported problem has been
resolved in the current version of Ubuntu. If it has not and there are

I also get logged out whenever I finish playing a movie with movie player
(totem) or of try to go back a few minutes in a movie that is playing. I'm on
Ubuntu 9.04
