You have been subscribed to a public bug: Ubuntu Studio, 9.04, brand new install (dual-boot) on Intel Mac. I use a Wacom Graphire USB tablet (model CTE-440) instead of a mouse. When booting into Ubuntu, the tablet is not recognised (or, at least, the cursor does not move when I try to move it with the tablet) until I un- plug and re-plug the tablet into the USB socket. After the un-plug-and- re-plug, the tablet works absolutely fine.
Attached is the relevant segment of "lsusb -v", executed after the tablet was re-plugged. (In case relevant: the tablet works fine if I boot into Mac OSX, no such issues) ** Affects: wacom-tools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: boot tablet usb wacom -- wacom usb tablet not recognised if plugged in before boot https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/bugs/375329 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to wacom-tools in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
