after i want to use the touchpad again i have to use the keyboard to
enable it.

1) normal behaviour (touchpad and trackpoint working)

I can say that the Fn+F8 Button works on my new set up Lenovo ThinkPad T60 with
Karmic (64bit).
The function is that the thouchpad is switched on or off. The trackpoint always
works.
There is an other behaviour. Karmic has (standard) switched on, that if
keyboard is tipping then touchpad is
in lucid alpha2 i can see some positive changes:
