Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
After todays upgrade, when entering fullscreen with compiz enabled, X crashes and gdm restarts. This happens with different programs. i've encountered this with evince and firefox. Maximizing gnome-terminal does not crash X. The crashes only occur when compiz is running. Using metacity, going fullscreen works as expected (and no crash occurs) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Jun 4 00:06:12 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 MachineType: TOSHIBA Satellite Pro A300 Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.7.99.1+git20090602.ec2fde7c-0ubuntu1 ProcCmdLine: root=UUID=50ae570d-0c44-4d8d-abd0-0cb859b15b15 ro quiet splash ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=nl_BE.UTF-8 SHELL=/usr/bin/zsh ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.30-7.8-generic RelatedPackageVersions: xserver-xorg 1:7.4~5ubuntu20 libgl1-mesa-glx 7.4.1-1ubuntu1 libdrm2 2.4.11-0ubuntu1 xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.7.99.1+git20090602.ec2fde7c-0ubuntu1 xserver-xorg-video-ati 1:6.12.2-1ubuntu1 SourcePackage: xserver-xorg-video-intel Uname: Linux 2.6.30-7-generic i686 dmi.bios.date: 04/14/2008 dmi.bios.vendor: TOSHIBA dmi.bios.version: V2.70 dmi.board.name: Satellite Pro A300 dmi.board.vendor: TOSHIBA dmi.board.version: Not Applicable dmi.chassis.asset.tag: No Asset Tag dmi.chassis.type: 1 dmi.chassis.vendor: TOSHIBA dmi.chassis.version: N/A dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnTOSHIBA:bvrV2.70:bd04/14/2008:svnTOSHIBA:pnSatelliteProA300:pvrPSAJ1E-005008BT:rvnTOSHIBA:rnSatelliteProA300:rvrNotApplicable:cvnTOSHIBA:ct1:cvrN/A: dmi.product.name: Satellite Pro A300 dmi.product.version: PSAJ1E-005008BT dmi.sys.vendor: TOSHIBA fglrx: Not loaded fglrx-loaded: Error: command ['grep', 'fglrx', '/var/log/kern.log', '/proc/modules'] failed with exit code 1: system: distro: Ubuntu architecture: i686kernel: 2.6.30-7-generic ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-intel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Xorg crashes entering fullscreen with compiz enabled https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/383384 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-intel in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
