That message appears because the i965_dri.so file is missing from your
system. Can you make sure the libgl1-mesa-dri package is installed and
if so reinstall it?

Oops, looks like you fixed the problem while I was digging into your log
files. :)
That package is not strictly required to be installed so it probably
shouldn't be a dependency but it should have gotten installed somehow.
