Timo Aaltonen: I think that this bug must be closed only when Karmic will be
released and this bug will be really fixed. Another way to close it - fix in
Jaunty. Closing bugs with status Fix Released when you think that it maybe
fixed is bad practice.
Please, reopen.

Sorry, that's not how it works. Bugs are closed when they are fixed,
either in the development release or as an update to the stable release.
The fixes regarding the intel stack are too hard to backport, so there
won't be official updates for jaunty.

Ok. Is there any way how can I check that this bug is really fixed? Is
there any LiveCD of Karmic? I'm not sure that this bug is fixed, because
fix is not checked.

of course, there are even daily livecd's, but you can try alpha3, which
has most of the stuff. If you can still reproduce it, feel free to
reopen. My intel laptop suspends and hibernates just fine on karmic,
btw.

Today I disabled Compiz, because it eats too much memory (~1,2Gb virtual
and ~25Mb resident) and this bug is not reproduced. Now I can
successfully use suspend/hibernate functionality.
