yet.
I can do some more testing this evening
I tested yesterday with 2.6.31-2.17 and the bug still persists.
after disconnecting the VGA (while not used) xrandr still shows it as connected.

Good for me I waited until today doing the tests.
Today's version 2.6.31-3.19 fixes all issues mentioned and the bug can
be closed as fixed.
