You have been subscribed to a public bug: I'm using VMWare ESXi 4.0 Hypervisor to install Ubuntu Karmic Alpha 3. Ubuntu installed without any problem.
In any application that has a scrollbar though, there's the following bug present: If I scroll the wheel upwards, the scrollbar goes all the way down, without ability to stop it in the middle. After that, upward scrolling with the wheel doesn't work. Manual dragging of the scrollbar works normally. I suspect here a problem with mouse driver of VMWare or mouse settings in X, as this affects *ALL* applications with scrollbar. There's no report of anything related to this issue in system log. My system: a...@karmic-testing:~$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu karmic (development branch) Release: 9.10 ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-evdev (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: vmware -- Scrolling with mouse doesn't work in VMWare https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/404805 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-evdev in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
