I have the same issue with installed radeonhd and fglrx. Only removing
fglrx fix it. Of cource I need another or new xorg.conf, because
radeonhd is not able to work with a xorg.conf which is reconfigured by
aticonfig. The wrong xorg.conf lead to some colored blocks on the top of
my display.

XorgLog.txt shows the successful startup after removing fglrx,
XorgLogOld.txt shows the log from a failed startup when fglrx was still
installed.
