Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-nv
I was using the nvidia driver without issue up until recently when it started to corrupt textures (http://twitpic.com/de7ru). I've since tried to move to nv, but it is randomly locking up X. For what it's worth, this often occurs at GDM or during login when gnome-session starts spawning an infinite number of nautilus processes due to bug 325973. I've attached a full backtrace, strace, and version information. I am not using an xorg.conf configuration file. ** Affects: xserver-xorg-video-nv (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [karmic] nv driver triggers seemingly random lockups on GeForce 7300 GT https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/412469 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nv in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
