Binary package hint: (unsure)

I have been helping installing Ubuntu on a laptop. The laptop had a problem
with brightness, in which the display is very dark. Fortunately there is a fix
for this.

Link to article:- http://www.linlap.com/wiki/asus+m50sv

The fix that works for ubuntu 9.04. is listed below. I have deleted the
bits that are not relevent.

The NVIDIA Geforce 9500M needs the latest version of the nvidia drivers
to function properly. However even with the new drivers its brightness
is still very dark. Until this fix is done.

On ubuntu have to change the sensor light level (light levels go from 0
to 15):

sudo -s
echo 15 > /sys/devices/platform/asus-laptop/ls_level

This line can be added to /etc/rc.local file to permanently fix the
issue.

Thanks everyone at ubuntu.
