The problem is not fixed. I also don't think it's a problem with intel
drivers since I am not using intel and have the exact same problem.

Then, the fonts appeared again.
I think It was some problem in these packages.

And sorry, the VGA related output of "lspci -vvnn" (first I thought you

I did an upgrade:

libdrm-intel1 2.4.13~git-0ubuntu0tormod~jaunty

libgl1-mesa-dri
I just installed that update, but I'm still having the same issue.
When the problem started, I changed to a simpler xorg.conf(a tip from Kovács in
the forums), that looks like this:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver "vesa"
Option "UseFBDev" "true"
EndSection

It was a problem in a package from xorg-edgers and is fixed in the

Now I'm in a hurry, so I cannot reproduce the problem. Until then, here
are some outputs, and yes, I also use xorg-edgers, as it can be seen
below. (Thanks, Bruno!)

I had this too updating today. I assume Kovács is updating from xorg-
edgers.
I can solve the issue by downgrading the mesa libs to the earlier
packages on the repository.
Running the following packages I don't have missing non subpixel smoothing
fonts:
libgl1-mesa-dri 7.6.0+git20090908.e589a37f
Hi kovzol-particio,
Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn` and `dmesg`, and attach your
/var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this
issue. If you're using a custom /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.
