Hm, seems merely shipping it doesn't work any more. I installed it into a live system, restarted gdm, and it's still not using it. So don't bother pulling it in unless we also have way to automatically enable it. As a workaround, I start kvm with "-usb -usbdevice tablet", which works just fine.
