I can also confirm the bug. I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 (fresh installed),
and also had the problem on 9.04.
Every time my computer boots I get this error:

Using "AccelMethod UXA" seems to make the freezes happen less frequently
for me, but they still do happen. I still haven't been able to isolate
any specific triggers for the freeze.

i posted earlier that edgers ppas improved the situation, but as Shulman
noted, the problems still persist.
i'm now running 9.10 RC and my system randomly freezes after being woken
up from sleep. is this isolated to x41 tablet, or are other computers
seeing this problem?

I tried the edgers package starting a couple of days ago based on your

I just realized I forgot to restart gdm with INTEL_DEBUG=batch before
