Using Bleeding-Edge setup, none of the other setups work at all. The
mouse pointer is not visible immediately after boot up. If I run
glxgears, mouse pointer appears and is visible all the time.
ProblemType: Bug
I don't understand your suggestion. What is Karmic? Please provide
more detailed instructions.

You have a mixed bag here. Bleeding edge from xorg-edgers, but still
running on Jaunty. It would be better if you could test on Karmic,
possibly with xorg-edgers enabled. Then also more underlying components
will be updated.
