The output name has changed from VGA to VGA1. This is to make naming
consistent across all drivers. Previously, each driver had its own
naming system for the monitors.

The problems with the VGA out happen when the laptop lid is closed. If I
boot and run the script nothing changes. When I open the lid both

The steps I have to take are:
Switch off the laptop's own display (LVDS1)
Add the correct mode to VGA1
Set HDMI1 to the correct resolution
Set VGA1 to the correct resolution and move it to the right of HDMI1

I have a similar problem. When I dock my laptop at work its connected to
a pair of external monitors which for some reason I've needed a shell
script to configure them. However at some point in the karmic release
cycle the script stopped working. The DVI output doesn't change
