Probably not necessary if it will be fixed in Maverick.
If they can get the stylus button patch included again (Bug #573275), it
will be fantastic.

This is fixed upstream in 0.10.7.
We absolutely could push the conf file change as an SRU, but I need to
think about whether we should.

I can confirm MyR in #15.
In Lucid (Ubuntu 10.04) right-click is still not working.
Instead: Pushing the right-click button is recognized as a middle click.
(One may try this out in evince: You can scroll through a document without
clicking. Pretty cool, somehow...)
Anyway: Thanks to all who work
I reported the problem that comment 13 is about.
The problem I'm seeing is not a duplicate of this bug. If I replace
/usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/10-linuxwacom.fdi with the file
attached to this bug, the change has no effect. I figured that this is
because the change to the config file w
In fact, a new bug occurs: Pushing the right-click button is recognized
as a middle click _without_ pushing the stylus tip.

Hi MyR, I have received a report of a similar issue. I would request
that you test the following to confirm or deny a conflict between
xserver-xorg-input-wacom and nvidia-glx drivers (binary nvidia modules):
1) Move the current fdi workaround of

It would be nice if the stylus could fully work out-of-the-box for the
10.04 LTS release!
It looks like an easy fix -- this could be one more bug squashed.
Cheers for all your hard work! Ubuntu has come a long way in the past 5
years.

Timo, mind taking a look at this in conjunction with your -wacom upload?
If this looks worth including in an SRU post-release (along with other
-wacom updates), please go ahead and approve the lucid nomination.
Otherwise, guess it can be left for Meerkat.
