First, a correction on the comment above. I'm NOT an advance user.
I just removed the "nvidia driver" on the /etc/X11/xorg.conf and saved.
Then, I installed Envy and selected the Nvidia driver version 173 (since the
version 185 is not working with my PC)

I activated the "Nvidia accelerated graphics driver (version 185)" and, after
log off, the login screen no longer appeared.
I'm an advanced user, so I'll try to get the logs and outputs to attach here.

Bryce, thanks for the help, but the problem is already solved.
I just re-installed my beta 9.10 version and it worked (after a disk test,
which recovered 1 file).

Please attach the output of `lspci -vvnn` and `dmesg`, and attach your
/var/log/Xorg.0.log (and maybe Xorg.0.log.old) file from after reproducing this
issue. If you're using a custom /etc/X11/xorg.conf please attach that as well.
