Public bug reported: lspci | grep -i nvidia: 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G72M [Quadro NVS 110M/GeForce Go 7300] (rev a1)
In 9.04, the proprietary driver worked just fine with compiz or other compositing window managers. In Karmic, it is slow incredibly slow that the computer is not usable and desktop effects need to be turned off. Artifacts are also produced all over the screen. If it is of any help, I can record a video of this happening. Also, I have tried all the different versions of the drivers offered by jockey, but to no avail.
