Hello.
Maybe the problem caused by an unclean upgrade. I'd no errors and all seems
correctly installed. But I tryed to reinstall from kubuntu karmic rc1 cd again
and now there is no error anymore. my touchpad works correctly now. hope
that helps.

I don't know where to change that setting under KDE. I'm moving this bug
to xorg - hopefully someone there will be able to help you.
