this by the morning Swiss time. :) I did find gconf-editor - I noticed
it didn't show xscreensaver, which is installed, but rather
gnome-screensaver. Should I install the gnome version instead?
Yes, I do interact with a openchro

If you open gconf-editor and go to apps/gnomescreensaver, you can change
the contents of the "themes" key, which is the selected saver (or all of
them if you choose "random"). L
