Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I am having problems setting up a dual head setup with a single desktop
that spreads across two monitors. (Mirroring works fine, but this is not
what I would like to have.). I run the open source ati driver on a x2300
mobile chipset. The systemsettings module says my computer is not
configured to have this type of setup. However, setting up a dual head
works *fine* in gnome though. (Through gnome-display-properties).

If it matters my screens are a 1280x900 notebook screen and a 20 inch
Samsung 2033 monitor. I would be happy to provide more information if
required.
