Using i915 kernel module (2.6.31-14-generic) and xserver-xorg-video-
intel (2:2.9.0-1ubuntu2) in karmic for x86_64 in my HP Compaq 610, the
panel is always black (but On) regardless of what i try with xrand. It
work
