Hi, i have an Acer Aspire 5738z with an Intel GMA 4500M and a fresh
installation of karmic from both a livecd and an alternate CD, both have been
integrity checked, After GRUB, my screen goes black. I have tried with
following boot options: acpi=off, vga=733, vga=771. nomodset, xforcevesa. I
have also tried without the following boot options: quiet, splash. I have tried
recovery mode, a
nd have tried switching to a TTY. Thanks :)
