Alright, well we believe the issue is fixed in development now, but
without testing we can't be sure. I'll go ahead and close out the bug
report for now, and if you get a chance to install lucid while it's
still under development and still see the bug, reopen this report.

I had to downgrade because of the nuisance that it caused. the 9.10 UNR
kernel works flawlessly. As for powersave feature, all settings were
greyed out when I tried to change them in gnome. I had no choice but to
use what ever the defaults were. Sorry to drop the release but I needed

This should have been fixed awhile ago in the 2.6.32-12 kernel when the
powersave feature was disabled by default. Are you still seeing these
issues Out_Cold?

[i945gme] screen flashes and glitches when switching

I have random screen glitching and flashing on the eeepc 1005ha. There
is no specific pattern to the occurrences . I have not tried using an
external monitor. I also have experienced twice a black screen while
working. I cannot switch
