Hmm, I think this might be a kernel issue; it appears to be reporting
the touchpad as a mouse device. Not really something -synaptics
can/should work around...
One other thing, you did not mention whether this was a regression. Did
this work properly with Karmic?

Ubuntu Remix 91.0 on Acer Aspire One 532h does not detect touchpad. Let
