So you still have it. But in fact your case not so similiar like mine.
Perhaps it is OK in your case. I mean it just reflects that there is
problem with EDID.
In my case this ERROR repeats in dmesg many times.
And I have this: i915 :00:02.0: LVDS-1: EDID invalid.
And its happen even with ma

Konstantin, why did you reassign this to the user-space X driver? The
patch you linked to is a kernel patch. Try applying it to your kernel,
rebuild, and give it a test?
