My touchpad and keyboard totally not working. I have a Dell Inspiron 2650. It was working when I installed Lucid, but now even If I boot up the Lucid install disk, it not working. Not a mechanical failure since I can use touchpad and keyboard fine with Puppy Live disk -- touchpad on dell mini10v

The problem is that the quirks for your specific machine aren't getting loaded due to the xorg.conf.d change which was just brought in for xserver. The fixed xserver-xorg-input-synaptics package with the proper rules to apply the quirks for your device is building at the moment and should be availa
