The main "problem" here is that fglrx doesn't want to install on a kernel newer
than 2.6.32. However we can't expect the Ubuntu devs to support other kernels
than the ones shipping with Ubuntu.
I would suggest you to file bugreports with the problems you have using fglrx
on the official 2.6.32-k
p.s.s every time i try to change display in ATI Catalyst Control Center
(Administrative because you can't change display with no sudo priviliges) he
asks me to restart the system.
to restart just to set dual view?
that is one more major bug that need to be fix.

p.s i have one major problem with gflrx and kernel 2.6.32-20 and that is
that all my screen are detected as unknown in monitors were as with xorg
they are detected properly as mag computer screen and as toshiba tv i
don't recall heaving that in ubuntu 8.10 and i'm pretty sure that i want

that doesn't mean that this problem shouldn't be fix and beside the
current fglrx is not 100 percent perfect i still have problems with it
for instance compiz freeze sometimes and that didn't happen in the past
and 720p movies also have jumps every now and again and that too did not
happen in the p
aviramof, the point is that 2.6.33 is not a _supported_ kernel.
