you may turn off KMS and all will be ok. +you will have more fps/sec.

The problem persists in 10.04 final version. I have Acer 3100, ATI
video. I have noticed, that the cursor works, but it's just invisible.
If you swich the workspace to anothe one, the cursor appears again. I
know, it's wierd but maybe this infornation will help to solve the bug.

I can confirm this bug on a dell dimension 9100 with ati video, also
after an upgrade from 9.10 to 10.04 RC: Each time I resume after
hibernation or suspend, the cursor is not displayed. You can see it
highlighting objects, though; it is just hidden, as described above.
